“When I was younger, I would always be fascinated by art and how artists can make masterpieces that bring people to various emotions. Once I first started drawing, I was not good at all whatsoever because I didn’t know what I was doing, so I had to learn from the experience of practicing and even now I know I can do better and am not the best I could be, but I am still working on it. There is always room for improvement, but one thing that I had to learn is that no matter how hard you work on a piece of art, the countless hours straightening that one line, there will often be times where you only see the mistakes in your art. Even though you only see the mistakes know that you are the only one who can create your artwork the way you do it; each artist has their own unique art style. My goal for art is to always be improving my style and find out exactly what my style is, be it cartooning, painting, animation, etc., I want to find that and make it grow. Another important goal I have is to be able to make people smile and feel good when they see my art because that’s how I felt when I saw art, so I want to give people the same feeling and bring them out of a slump if they are feeling down.” – Brielle
